Safe Deliveries. Every Time.
From verified Rangers to OTP hand-offs and live tracking you can share, safety is built into every step of moving your goods.
Explore Safety FeaturesOur Safety Commitment
Everyone using Rylod — customer or Ranger — deserves to feel safe. Everything on this page describes features that are live in the app today; we don't list promises we haven't built.
We keep improving these measures based on feedback and real incidents. If something isn't right, tell us and we fix it.
Customer Safety Features
Multiple layers of protection for you and your goods.
Safety Center & SOS
During a trip you can report a safety issue to our safety team and see local emergency numbers for your city, right in the app.
Share Trip
Share a live tracking link with friends and family. They can follow the delivery in a browser — no app needed.
Live GPS Tracking
Track your Ranger from pickup to drop in real time on the map.
Verified Rangers
Every Ranger completes KYC — identity, driving licence, and vehicle documents are verified before they can take a single booking.
OTP Hand-off
A pickup OTP starts the trip and a separate delivery OTP releases the goods — only the person you choose can receive them.
In-App Chat & Number Privacy
Chat with your Ranger in the app. You control whether your phone number is shared — otherwise contact stays in-app or masked.
Two-Way Ratings
Rate your Ranger after each trip; Rangers rate customers too. Repeated poor conduct leads to account review.
Proof of Delivery
Where required, the Ranger captures a delivery photo — available to you in My Trips.
Ranger Safety & Protection
Rangers are partners. Their safety matters just as much.
Ranger SOS
One tap for emergency, accident, medical, or breakdown — alerts our safety team and shares your live location until the incident is resolved.
OTP-Verified Handovers
Pickup and delivery OTPs mean you hand goods to the right person, with a record of every handover.
Right to Refuse Unsafe Loads
You are never penalised for refusing a load you reasonably believe is unsafe, prohibited, or beyond your vehicle's limits.
Fare Disputes Handled
The app shows the exact fare — no bargaining. If a customer refuses to pay, report it in-app; Rylod investigates and may block the customer.
Contact Privacy
Communication can stay in-app or masked where available, so your personal number isn't exposed.
Everyone Is Accountable
Customers are OTP-verified account holders, rate-able after every trip, and can be blocked for abuse or non-payment.
Safety Built Into Every Trip
Not add-ons — these run on every single delivery.
OTP at Both Ends
Goods move only against one-time passwords — at pickup and at delivery. A completed OTP handover is a verifiable record.
Shareable Live Tracking
Every trip has a share link. Anyone you send it to can watch the live location in a browser until the link expires.
Proof of Delivery
Delivery photos captured at handover, stored with the trip, and available if anything is ever in dispute.
Records When It Matters
GPS trails, chat logs, and trip records are reviewed when you raise a dispute or safety report — decisions are based on evidence, not guesswork.
Community Guidelines
Simple rules for a safe, respectful experience for everyone.
For Customers
- Verify the Ranger's name, photo, and vehicle number before handing over goods
- Share OTPs only with the Ranger (pickup) and your intended receiver (delivery)
- Pack items safely — sealed, cushioned if fragile, nothing leaking or sharp
- Never book prohibited items — the app shows the restricted list
- Use the in-app chat instead of sharing your phone number
- Report any concern immediately through the app or safety@rylod.com
For Rangers
- Start the trip only with the pickup OTP, at the pickup location
- Handle every parcel and load with care — never open or tamper with a consignment
- Refuse loads that are unsafe, suspicious, or beyond your vehicle's limits
- Complete delivery with the delivery OTP and a proof photo where required
- Charge only the app's calculated fare — never demand more
- Report safety concerns, threats, or suspected illegal items immediately
In Case of Emergency
If you ever feel unsafe during a trip, here's what to do:
Call Emergency Services
For immediate danger, call the police (112) first. The app's Safety Center shows the emergency numbers for your city.
Alert Rylod
Use the in-app SOS / safety report to alert our safety team, or email safety@rylod.com.
Share Your Trip
Send your trip's live tracking link to someone you trust — they can follow your location in a browser instantly.
