Delete Your Account
We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your Rylod account, you can do so through the app or by verifying your identity below.
Account deletion is processed in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable Indian laws.
Before You Proceed
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed after the 48-hour grace period. Please make sure you have completed all pending trips, claimed any wallet balance, and downloaded any data you need.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
- Your profile information (name, phone number, email) will be permanently anonymized and deleted.
- Your trip history, booking records, and payment history will be retained for up to 8 years as required by Indian tax and financial regulations.
- Any pending trips or active bookings must be completed or cancelled before deletion.
- Drivers who are currently on duty must go off-duty before requesting deletion.
- Your account will be soft-deleted immediately with a 48-hour grace period, after which all personal data will be permanently removed.
- Wallet balance, credits, or pending payouts (if any) will be forfeited unless claimed before deletion.
- This action is irreversible after the 48-hour grace period.
Data Retention After Deletion
Personal Data
Anonymized immediately, permanently deleted after 48 hours.
Trip & Transaction Records
Retained for up to 8 years as required by Indian tax and financial regulations.
Communication Logs
Retained for up to 180 days after last trip for dispute resolution.
Delete from the App
- 1Open the Rylod app (Passenger, Driver, Fleet Manager, or Promoter).
- 2Go to Settings or Profile.
- 3Tap on "Delete Account".
- 4Confirm your identity via OTP verification.
- 5Confirm deletion. Your account will be scheduled for permanent removal.
